We started our journey in 2011.  As a small family of 4 with two small kids, we were struggling financially.  We had a single income, one car, and lived in an area with no public transportation.  We started our first Etsy shop in 2011 with the hopes of generating enough additional income to purchase a 2^nd car and put our oldest son in preschool. We figured if we could make an additional $50-100/ month, we would be able to get him to preschool during the day.

After our first shop grew, we hit an unexpected roadblock  We found it increasingly difficult to supply our business with the needed materials to sell our products.  That is when BrassKicker was born.  We decided if we were going to open a supply shop, it better kick [br] ass! 

In 2012, we started BrassKicker and watched it grow beyond our wildest expectations.  We started with under 50 products and have now grown our inventory to 3000+ unique items. As of 2024, we have over 240,000 sales on Etsy and have been a Global Top 100 supply shop. We have a 5-star rating on over 36,000 reviews!

We haven’t always been perfect.  The road to a successful business has been rocky at times. We’ve made mistakes along the way.  We want to THANK our amazing and loyal customers for sticking with us.  We stand here today because of you.
